As a Scrap Coordinator, you will coordinate all scrap vehicles at Milford Proving Grounds and manage all dismantled and out-of-state crush vehicles for CVO (Company Vehicle Operations) vehicle recovery.
Scrap Coordinator Responsibilities include:
- Submit vehicle moves for incoming scrap.
- Maintain various spreadsheets for scrap and VRP (Vehicle Recovery Program).
- Create physical files for vehicles.
- Update vehicle status and location in the company vehicles management system.
- Supply technicians with work priority.
- Create monthly crush list and coordinator vehicle crush.
- Assign pricing categories based on contracts to dismantle vehicles.
- Create a bill of sale and send it to the dismantler.
- Obtain titles for vehicles and apply for scrap titles.
- Create affidavits for crushed vehicles.
- Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.
Scrap Coordinator Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to drive company vehicles at Milford Proving Grounds.
- Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Must have exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Must be a reliable team player.
- 1-year customer service experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook applications preferred.
Scrap Coordinator Working Conditions and Physical Demands include:
