Job Summary:
The IT Systems Analyst supports the organization’s regional business units and corporate staff by analyzing, implementing, and maintaining technology solutions aligned with organizational objectives. The role focuses on understanding business processes, translating requirements into system specifications, and managing multiple business applications. Key responsibilities include system administration, user acceptance testing, technical documentation, and leveraging tools such as SQL and the Microsoft Power Suite to automate workflows and enhance reporting. This position is essential to ensuring that systems remain optimized, secure, and responsive to user needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes and translate functional requirements into system specifications.
- Administer and maintain business applications to ensure stability, performance, and security.
- Perform intermediate SQL queries for data analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for applications, integrations, and system processes.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and coordinate testing plans for enhancements or new systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize system enhancements and integrations.
- Utilize Microsoft Power Suite tools (Power Automate, Power BI, Forms, SharePoint) to automate workflows and support reporting needs.
- Provide system support for customer service applications, including issue identification and resolution.
- Assist in developing training materials and supporting user education on system functionalities.
- Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices relevant to system analysis and administration.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience performing business analysis, requirements gathering, and process mapping.
- Experience supporting and administering business applications, preferably within customer service environments.
Special Requirements:
- None explicitly required beyond standard technical competencies. Certifications in SQL, Microsoft Power Platform, or related technologies are beneficial but not mandatory.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Intermediate SQL proficiency for data querying and analysis.
- Strong technical writing and documentation capabilities.
