SAS Mfg is an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers, focusing on high-reliability electronic assemblies. With design and manufacturing facilities in California. SAS Mfg specializes in high mix, low- to medium-volume manufacturing for high-reliability markets in the Aerospace, Industrial Controls, and Telecommunications sectors. Responsibilities:

·       Repair malfunctioning equipment units and broken structures

·       Assist with installation of machinery systems

·       Perform electrical systems maintenance

·       Quality check equipment regularly to ensure items are in working order

·       Help maintain inspection and repair schedules as needed

·       Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

·       High School Diploma or equivalent plus 1-2 years maintenance experience required

·       Working knowledge of electronic assembly equipment, their usage, and safety procedures

Language:

·       Ability to effectively communicate in English both in writing and verbally at the general business level.

·        

Technical Skills:

·      Possess the technical knowledge necessary to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

·      Basic computer skills in MS Office, including Word and Excel

Reasoning Ability:

·       Must have good organizational and investigation skills as well as being able to plan and execute workload without supervision

·       Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedures, instructions, safety rules, and reports

Physical Demands:

·       While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to fingers, handle or feel; reach with hand and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.

·       The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, and occasionally life and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 pounds.

·       Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

·       Must have 20/20 vision acuity with or without glasses
