What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Intern position at SAS Automotive Inc. - USA?
- Assist with product inspections and quality checks on the production floor.
- Support investigation of quality concerns, defects, and non-conformance issues.
- Help maintain quality records, reports, and documentation.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Assist in tracking quality metrics, scrap, and rework data.
- Support Layered Process Audits (LPA), 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with calibration tracking and organization of quality equipment.
- Review work instructions and quality standards for accuracy and updates.
- Support containment activities and sorting when required.
- Participate in meetings related to quality performance and improvement projects.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
