What You’ll Be Doing
As our next Mold Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift), you will play a key role in delivering high-quality products in a clean, air-conditioned, and state-of-the-art environment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair molds in tool shop and production environments
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of mold conditions and repairs
- Diagnose and complete mold repairs based on condition reports
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on molds
- Maintain and enter records (mold condition reports, spare parts, BDE system)
- Assist in training and guiding apprentices
- Handle mold components carefully during disassembly and assembly
What You Bring
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–2 years of related experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of metal polishing and mold electrical wiring
- Proficient with hand tools and metric measurements
- Ability to read technical documents and follow procedures
- Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Profitemp
Requirements
- Ability to work 2nd shift (2:30 PM-11 PM, Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays)
- Ability to train on 1st shift for an approximately 2 months from 6am – 2:30pm before going on 2nd shift.
- Regular standing, walking, and use of hands/tools
- Frequent bending, climbing, and lifting (up to 25 lbs regularly, 100 lbs occasionally)
- Good vision and manual dexterity required
