What You’ll Be Doing 






As our Customer Service Representative (8:00am-5:00pm), you will support customers and internal teams by providing exceptional service and ensuring accurate order processing and issue resolution.






Key Responsibilities




  • Enter and process customer orders accurately, including electronic orders received through customer web portal applications.




  • Utilize customer web portals to manage, track, and process orders efficiently while ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.




  • Communicate with customers via phone and email to confirm orders and provide order-related updates.




  • Maintain and update customer account information, including contact details and billing contacts.




  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service support.




  • Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, billing issues, and customer complaints by coordinating with internal departments.




  • Process customer returns, credit memos, and invoice corrections while ensuring accurate documentation and recordkeeping.




  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems and provide customers with requested documentation, including invoices, packing slips, and related records.








What You Bring




  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.




  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present information clearly and effectively.




  • Basic math proficiency, including working with percentages, ratios, decimals, and calculations related to order processing.




  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.




  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, as well as data entry systems and customer web portal applications.







Requirements 



  • High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months of customer service, administrative, order entry, or related experience preferred.

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. 

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
