The Saratoga Senior Center is a non-residential community center in the heart of downtown Saratoga, serving over 3,000 older adults. The Center offers a social environment with programs tailored to seniors, allowing them to maintain an independent lifestyle through social interaction, healthy living classes, and new skill learning. Essential support services provided include advocacy, aging in place assistance, information and referral services, food assistance, transportation, and a Senior Life Transitions program for chronically ill seniors.
Role Description
This is a part/full-time30-40 hours/week, on-site role located in Saratoga Springs, NY, for a Volunteer and outreach Coordinator. The Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, training, retaining volunteers; and organizing and overseeing volunteer activities, conducting community outreach, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. Daily tasks will include recruiting and training volunteers, coordinating outreach efforts, and supporting the center's various programs and initiatives.
