Schedule:
Evening shifts during events
- Start time between 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- End time between 9:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Primarily evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays during the Event Season (April – October)
Position Summary
SPAC is looking for reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Attendants to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests during concerts and events. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, energetic atmosphere at one of New York’s premier performing arts venues.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain restrooms, event spaces, offices, and venue grounds before, during, and after events
- Respond quickly to spills, high-traffic areas, and restroom needs during shows
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize surfaces, and empty trash/recycling
- Restock supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.)
- Set up and break down cleaning stations
- Provide friendly assistance and directions to guests when needed
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Work both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Reliable transportation required
- Availability to work evenings and weekends during the event season (April–October) is essential
