About the Role:
We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and an ADON to join our team at VAMC in Topeka, Kansas in a full-time capacity.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current state license to practice as an RN
- Be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Must have two years of experience as an RN and one year of supervisory experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Administrative leadership, recruitment/retention efforts, and compliance of all hospital/facility policies and procedures
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Administrative leadership, recruitment/retention efforts, and compliance of all hospital/facility policies and procedures
- The ADON provides supervision to the unit leaders, and is responsible for assisting in disciplinary actions
- The ADON provides supervision to RNs regarding policies, procedures, and patient care delivery
