What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nursing Assistant position at Saratoga Medical Center?
About the Role:
We are seeking Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) to join our team at VAMC in Topeka, Kansas in a full-time capacity.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency is preferred
- CNA certification from the state of Kansas is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must have a minimum of six months experience
- Have Hospital and/or public intermediate care facility experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, basic care and supervision to patients and residents at public intermediate care facilities or other treatment facilities
- Perform location checks, both observing and monitoring
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
