Neurosurgery & Trauma Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Location: Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) – Ft. Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX
Overview:
Saratoga Medical is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Neurosurgery and Trauma Department at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) on Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to provide advanced clinical care to military personnel and their families at one of the nation’s leading military medical centers.

Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in the neurosurgery and trauma service.
Assist in surgical cases, pre- and post-operative management, and trauma care coordination.
Conduct inpatient and outpatient follow-ups.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation per hospital and federal standards.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in Nursing (for NP) or Physician Assistant Studies (for PA) from an accredited institution.
Current, unrestricted license to practice as an NP or PA in any U.S. state or territory.
National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
BLS and ACLS certifications required; ATLS preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in neurosurgery, trauma, or critical care.
