About the Role:
We are seeking Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities Technicians (MHDDT) to join our team at VA Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas in a full-time capacity or locum tenens.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Valid Driver's License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds repetitively and requires physical strength to frequently bend, stoop, walk, push, pull, twist, squat, and lift patients with assistance
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, basic care and supervision to patients and residents at state hospital
- Perform location checks, both observing and monitoring
- Perform environmental cleaning tasks
