What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Social Worker position at Saratoga Medical Center?
Saratoga Medical Currently has an opening for a PART-time Medical Social Worker position to work on Hanscom AFB in Bedford, MA, as part of the EFMP program department. This is a part-time, 24 hours a week position, with 3 days a week to be scheduled Monday through Friday. Days are flexible upon availability. Day shift only, no weekends. Great position and opportunity to serve the military population and families. Position may become full time sometime next year.
Qualifications:
• Degree/Education: Masters of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited graduate school of social work. OR in lieu of MSW, a 4 Year/Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, with two years of experience.
• BLS certification required prior to start date
• Experience: If applicable, two years full-time experience in care coordination, discharge planning or case management in a medical setting within the last four years.
