What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Vocational Nurse position at Saratoga Medical Center?
About the Role:
We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at VAMC in Wichita, Kansas in a full-time capacity.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be licensed as an LPN in the state of Kansas and have six months of experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Additional training and certification required by the hospital or facility prior to assignment working in patient care
Responsibilities:
- Must provide leadership and coordination of quality patient care by fostering therapeutic relationships, active treatment, and supporting the hospital
- Provide patient care and recognition of behavioral and physical changes
- Serves as shift leader, if assigned
