Your Role:
Our successful Housekeeping Supervisor promotes outstanding relations with all guests and fellow Team Members by providing service in a friendly, swift, and responsible manner. They thrive in a team base environment where everyone consistently uplifts and supports each other through detail oriented work and regularly doing what it takes to ensure all necessary work completed.
Keys to Success in this Role:
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma
- Prior housekeeping experience with a minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.
- Must have great oral/written communication skills.
- Must have computer experience. Basic math skills required.
- Required to work flexible hours based on needs of the business.
- Coordinates all daily activities and plans for sufficient staffing to clean guest rooms and public areas.
- Creates room assignments for guest room attendants.
- Responsible for daily inspections of rooms.
- Inspect public areas daily to ensure quality assurance.
- Prepares the department’s weekly schedule in conjunction with weekly rooms’ forecast.
- Assist with monthly inventory.
- Informs Hotel Housekeeping Manager of needed supplies.
- Assists with Kronos timekeeping system when necessary.
- Ensures completion of inspection sheets for all check outs.
- Handle all inquiries regarding Lost and Found.
- Assist with enforcement of key issuance procedure established by the hotel.
- Assist in the direct training of new hires.
- Report room discrepancies to Front Desk.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to lift/carry 35 lbs.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping.
- Selected applicants will be required to complete an online onboarding process.
