Engineering Internship

About the Opportunity:

Saratech is seeking an Engineering Internship. This is a part-time leading to full-time position located at our corporate headquarters in Mission Viejo, CA. This role is designed to provide a college student with valuable professional experience supporting our internal customers in a growing organization. You will assist the Engineering Services/Design/Analysis team with various support duties such as CAD modeling, part model check reviews, industry standard parts specifications, stress analysis, FEA and project planning. Additionally, you will have an opportunity to grow your professional network and contribute to the Saratech engineering team.

Salary Range:

• $15.50/hr

Qualifications and Experience:

• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering projects.
• Ensure projects are completed according to project plans.
• Identify engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented.
• Work with Project design lead to ensure good decisions for Saratech and projects.
• Assists lead in completing projects.
• Provide real-time, customer feedback information.
• Translating client requirements into practical terms that can be implemented by a team.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Prioritizing and organizing project tasks into the required timeline.
• Ensuring the project meets its deadlines at each stage.
• Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards and customer contract requirements, and related specifications.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of customer relationship management tools, Salesforce.com a plus
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Paid Holidays: All full-time employees will receive 8 paid holidays per year. Full-time non-exempt employees receive an extra floater holiday per year.

Paid Sick time: All full-time and part-time employees will receive 40 sick hours per year or minimum sick time required by the state.
