Bookkeeper
We're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in a long-term, part-time role. This position is ideal for someone who is confident in bank reconciliations, enjoys keeping financial records clean and accurate, and takes ownership of their work. Experience supporting an e-commerce product-based business is a strong plus.
In this role, you'll play an important part in maintaining the financial health of a growing brand. You'll work closely with our Controller and contribute to accurate reporting, efficient processes, and timely reconciliations across multiple sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile customer orders and payments across multiple platforms (Shopify, Amazon, and other sales channels)
- Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain accurate inventory and sales tracking records
- Assist with monthly financial reporting, including sales analyses, returns, discounts, and royalty reports
- Prepare and file monthly sales tax reports
- Maintain supporting financial documents such as the All Sales Receipts Report, Embroidery Cost Analysis, and Product Release Date Tracker
- Support budgeting, KPI tracking, and performance reporting
- Meet regularly with the Controller to review work, resolve discrepancies, and improve workflows
- Identify and recommend improvements to bookkeeping and accounting processes
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven bookkeeping experience, including bank and credit card reconciliations
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with spreadsheets and web-based tools
- High attention to detail with consistent, accurate follow-through
- Ability to manage recurring tasks independently and meet deadlines
- Clear communicator who works well with a small, collaborative team
