What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Saranac Village at Will Rogers?
Saranac Village at Will Rogers is seeking diligent and friendly housekeeping staff.
Essential duties include:
- Cleaning public & common areas as scheduled
- Cleaning assigned apartments as scheduled & defined in individual resident assistance plans
- Washing & folding facility & resident laundry
- Ensuring safe & sanitary living environment for our residents
- Accurate reporting of chargeable services (extra cleanings, extra laundry service, etc.) to residents and submission of charge reports to business office on a weekly schedule.
- Washing windows in public areas quarterly or more as needed.
- Assist with exterior window washing twice per year.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Must have a familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor mops & ringers and laundry appliances such as washing machines, dryers, and irons.
High School Diploma or GED required with reading, comprehension, and writing ability at a 12th grade level or higher.
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
