Location: Sarah D. Culbertson Memorial Hospital – Rushville, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our billing team. If you enjoy working behind the scenes to help keep operations running smoothly and want to be part of a supportive, mission-driven organization, this is the opportunity for you!
Duties:
- Reconcile patient accounts
- Follow up on insurance claims and unpaid balances
- Contact insurance companies and use online portals to resolve billing issues
- Support the billing office with administrative and financial tasks
- Help ensure accurate and timely processing of patient billing
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a medical billing or accounts receivable role preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and health insurance plans
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret accounting journals, reports, and documents
- Basic computer skills and comfort with office equipment
- A team-first attitude and commitment to excellent service
