A leading buy-side financial services organization in Midtown Manhattan is building out a lean, high-output engineering team to modernize their data platform and they need an experienced developer to make it happen.
Who Are You Working With? You'll be embedded on a high-impact data platform team operating inside an agentic development model — AI-assisted tooling isn't a novelty here, it's the standard. The Senior Developer pairs directly with a Senior Data Management Consultant to turn strategy into working software in days, not weeks. The Junior works alongside the Senior, absorbing structured workstreams and building real throughput on a production financial data platform.
Both roles are hands-on, delivery-focused, and operating inside the same engineering culture from day one.
What Are You Building? The team is driving end-to-end delivery across EDM remediation, Snowflake-based data mastering, a UI layer over Snowflake, and integration into core internal systems — including a millisecond-level security identifier service and pipelines across accounting, Client Reporting, and an insurance technology stack.
Key responsibilities across the team include:
- Leading and supporting delivery of EDM remediation and Snowflake-based data mastering
- Building and maintaining the UI layer over Snowflake
- Engineering and integrating the security identifier service across accounting, Client Reporting, and the ISG insurance stack
- Driving integration into Delphi and owning release pipelines
- Owning test coverage and integration tasks for assigned components
- Operating inside an agentic delivery model using AI-assisted tooling from day one
- Setting and upholding engineering standards across code quality, testing, release management, and observability
Who Are You?
We're looking for:
- Senior full stack engineering background within a buy-side data platform context
- Working fluency in Snowflake, SQL, and JSON
- Demonstrable experience with agentic development tooling, such as Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or equivalents
- Strong instrument data instincts across public and private markets, including OTC derivatives, private credit, and multi-leg trades
- Prior EDM exposure with a clear evolution beyond EDM-only delivery
