Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Maker to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas that delight our customers. Your expertise in food preparation, adherence to food safety standards, and culinary creativity will help create an exceptional dining experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your kitchen skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ensuring every pizza meets our standards of excellence.
We are looking to fill a part time position, hours would be Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 4:30-8:00 and possibly fill in one day a week if needed.
Pay range depends on experience, willing to train the right candidate.
Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients following established recipes and quality standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, dough rollers, and other appliances safely and efficiently
- Assemble pizzas with precision, ensuring proper portioning and presentation for optimal customer satisfaction
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure perfect crusts and toppings every time
- Support food production during peak hours by managing multiple orders quickly while maintaining quality
Skills
- pizza making experience is strongly preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Pay will increase with experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen setting
- Skilled in operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Proven ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in product quality
- Experience with high-volume production environments requiring quick turnaround times
- Familiarity with food handling regulations, catering practices, and meal preparation techniques
