Hostess Cashier

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include managing guest seating, handling cash transactions, and providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome.
• Manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Support waitstaff by communicating guest needs effectively and promptly.
• Address any guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Foster positive guest relations by providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest interactions.
• Ability to help guests with inquiries while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
