Test Lab Technician ($25 – 30 p/hr)
We are seeking a Test Lab Technician for a 3 month contract assignment with an Electronics Manufacturer East of Syracuse, NY.
This is a 1st shift opportunity.

Key duties include:
- Build and assemble test fixtures, test boxes, and wire harnesses accurately in accordance with defined test project requirements.
- Demonstrate basic working knowledge of hand assembly techniques, including the use of hand-crimping tools.
- Use soldering irons effectively for component and wire assembly tasks.
- Read and interpret engineering specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Assist with the installation, validation, maintenance, and repair of test equipment and related components, along with other assigned tasks.
- Support small testing-related projects, including test equipment improvements, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives, under the guidance of the engineering team.
Education and Experience:
- AAS or BS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related degree.
- Previous experience working in an Electronics Test Lab or related environment.
- Experience reading basic electrical schematics and performing measurements using DMM, oscilloscope, power supply.
