We have an exciting opportunity available for an Operations Manager in the Syracuse, NY area.
Our client is seeking a career driven individual who is accustomed to being expeditiously promoted into higher levels of responsibility and have demonstrated success leading manufacturing operations.
Overview:
- Established Multishift, Vertically Integrated, Machining and Assembly Manufacturer.
- Succession Track potential to become Director / Vice President.
Key duties will include:
- Take ownership of Production, Assembly, and Test operations, providing both strategic direction and hands on leadership.
- Use data and metrics to drive improvement, identifying gaps and implementing practical solutions.
- Lead your team in achieving ambitious goals.
- Manage day to day manufacturing activities to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost performance.
- Build a culture of accountability and continuous learning through clear expectations and supportive leadership.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to streamline processes and solve challenges collaboratively.
- Hire, mentor, and grow talented professionals to build a world class operations team.
Education and Experience:
- BS in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 8 years of leadership experience in Manufacturing.
- Proven record of driving measurable improvements in production performance, cost, and quality.
