The Creative Marketing Manager for SEG is an integral person within the organization. They are responsible for ensuring all communication through photos, social media posts, written communication, advertising, etc, is on point and well-received by our clients, vendors, and the public.
The ideal candidate has at least three years of hospitality or similar experience, has a great eye, is an amazing copywriter, graphic designer, photographer, and an inspirational leader.
JOB PURPOSE
This role supports the development and execution of SEG’s marketing initiatives by managing content creation, brand consistency, and day‑to‑day marketing operations. The position focuses on executing marketing strategies, producing on‑brand content, and ensuring cohesive representation of SEG across digital channels, print materials, and guest‑facing communications. This role drives creativity, strategy, and execution, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to position SEG as a leader in the wedding and events industry.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead creative execution for marketing initiatives, ensuring all visual, written, and digital content aligns with SEG’s brand voice and aesthetic. Support campaign planning and collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Director to bring strategies to life through compelling content and engaging storytelling.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Develop visually compelling and on-brand creative assets for social media, digital advertising, print materials, and in-venue displays.
- Create, curate, and manage all photo, video, and multimedia content across platforms.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Director to execute campaigns that drive engagement and lead generation.
- Lead the creative vision for content days, photo shoots, and video shoots, including concept planning and on-site execution.
- Oversee the SEG content calendar with the Content Creator, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
- Write social copy, blog posts, and creative storytelling pieces that elevate SEG’s brand.
- Oversee aesthetic consistency across all referral sites, website galleries, and marketing platforms.
- Monitor performance of creative content and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Monitor ad performance, analyze metrics, and optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness.
- Stay informed on trends in social media, wedding aesthetics, and hospitality marketing.
- Capture live event footage as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors to secure images and media that support content goals.
- Provide creative support for newsletters, e-blasts, and client communication pieces.
- Knowledgeable of venue competition and their social media presence, website, package, etc.
- Interacts positively and exudes professional behavior and communications with employees, clients, and vendors to foster and support kindness in the workplace.
- Maintains quality of service by establishing and enforcing SEG policies, protocols, and procedures.
