Project Manager / Estimator

Job Summary

Duties

• Develop accurate project estimates by analyzing blueprints, schematics, and specifications using tools like Bluebeam and HeavyBid
• Prepare detailed proposals and bid packages that reflect comprehensive cost analysis and resource planning
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, and Civil 3D to plan, schedule, and monitor project progress
• Oversee project scheduling and timeline management to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards
• Read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics to ensure precise understanding of project scope
• Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes to optimize project costs and mitigate risks
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, ensure safety compliance, and verify adherence to design specifications
• Facilitate communication across all stakeholders for effective project coordination and problem resolution
• Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, estimates, schedules, and budgets for transparency and accountability

Experience

• Proven experience in construction estimating combined with project management roles within the construction industry
• Strong proficiency with construction estimating software such as HeavyBid or similar tools
• Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Primavera P6, Civil 3D or equivalent platforms
• Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract administration
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict time management discipline
• Construction site experience is highly preferred to understand on-the-ground realities of project execution
• Familiarity with construction scheduling techniques and project coordination best practices
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams
