SanTan Brewing Company is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team in Chandler, AZ.

SanTan Brewing was founded in 2007 in Historic Downtown Chandler, AZ and has grown to become the largest independent craft brewery in the state. In 2015, SanTan Spirits was born when we decided to take our experience as brewers and evolve our ales and lagers into award winning spirits. Our mission is simple: Uncommon Quality for Everyday Occasions. This mission carries into the diversified components of the company including Brewpubs in Chandler and Sky Harbor Terminal 3, Catering Food Trucks, educational spaces for spirits, Spirit House craft cocktails and kitchen, and of course the sales and distribution of our handmade craft products.

SanTan is a growing and dynamic company. We are seeking a talented Digital Marketing Specialist who can leverage social media channels to grow and optimize SanTan’s reach and drive brand loyalty through digital storytelling. Ideal candidates are outgoing team player with a passion for creating fun, engaging experiences for our audience. Some work experience in the adult beverage industry is preferred and a love and appreciation for exceptional beer & spirits is a plus.

This position reports to the Marketing Manager and will own SanTan’s brand presence across all social and digital channels. Qualified candidates are excited to experiment with new channels, formats and content while also setting specific KPIs and measure performance against them. Reports to: Marketing Manager, Sales Manager and Ownership

Location: Downtown Chandler, AZ, SanTan Admin Office and company locations as needed

Travel: Some travel may be required, within Arizona

Compensation: Competitive with industry standards, depending on experience

Experience & Education Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of digital marketing experience

• Higher education in digital marketing or a related field preferred

• Extensive knowledge of digital marketing networks with an eye on upcoming platforms

• Working knowledge of adult (21 ) beverage industry

• Ability to work varied days and hours throughout the week dependent upon event schedules

Job Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Work with Department Managers and Ownership to establish measurable goals and objectives and translate them into strategic content

• Create visual content for social media profiles

• Write engaging and creative copy for social media profiles

• Schedule & publish social media content

• Create engaging Press Releases to provide to media 

• Package and process merchandise orders 

• Attend company events to capture content and promote 

• Attend various networking and sales events as needed 

• Attend monthly MSM Meetings (Marketing Strategy Meetings) with sales team 

• Familiarity with WordPress platform 

• Engage with staff in all business departments to ensure key content capture & coverage of critical events & brand moments

• Measure & share meaningful insights about audience demographics, KPIs on campaigns, engagement metrics, etc. including but not limited to: Audience Growth, Audience Profile, Audience Management, Content Reach, Engagement by Content Type, Leads, Response Rate and Quality, User Feedback, Digital Ads, Email Marketing Campaigns

• Monitor, listen & respond to users within company/brand guidelines on all digital engagements - Google, Yelp, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.

• Work with Managers to develop a paid advertising strategy for social media within parameters of federal, state, local & organizational rules/regulations

• Execution & monitoring of paid advertising spends within established budgets

• Develop, execute, and manage email marketing campaigns

• Participation in monthly Work-in-Progress meetings to update departments on social media activities & KPIs

• Evaluate and make recommendations on influencer opportunities

• Additional tasks as opportunity arises

Skills & Software:

• Copywriting

• Photography - shooting and processing

• Videography - shooting and editing

• Native or third-party social media scheduling software (Facebook Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later)

• Photographic styling for products, environments, portraits etc.

• Expertise in paid digital advertising

• Experience with email marketing software (MailChimp, Toast)

• G Suite/Microsoft Office
