The Santa Rita Union School District (SRUSD), located in the heart of the Salinas Valley of Monterey County, and is comprised of approximately 3600 students from Pre-School through Eighth Grade. Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent, plans, organizes, supervises, and evaluates the maintenance, repair, and operation of all District school facilities and transportation functions of the District; oversees construction, bond projects, and modernization projects.
Requirements / Qualifications
A combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and five (5) years of recent leadership and/or supervision of personnel involved in the construction, repair, maintenance, landscaping, and custodial operations of multiple physical facilities; experience in management/oversight of student transportation. Successful completion of the Coalition for Adequate School Housing (CASH) Maintenance Management Certificate Program, or equivalent, is highly desirable. A valid Class C California driver's license, an automobile to be used in the course of work, and proof of insurance are required.
