Santa Monica Seafood, as an 80-year-old privately owned company, is the largest specialty wholesale distribution and processor of fresh and frozen seafood in the Southwestern U.S. with over 200,000 SF of facilities in 12 locations In California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas. Santa Monica Seafood is also well known locally for its cafe in Santa Monica.
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm (Monday through Saturday with one day off during the week)
Primary Summary- We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team. Successful candidates will bring a wide range of problem-solving abilities to contribute to a production-intensive team environment.
Responsibilities:
Empty boxes onto a conveyor belt.
Remove the scales from the fish.
Put boxes on the finished product pallet.
Palletize boxes with portioned product.
Requirements:
- Able to stand and walk for a long period of time
- Minimum of 1 year of Warehouse experience
- Be able to work in a refrigerated work environment
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
