Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be part of a professional Customer Service team supporting customers and Sales in a fast-paced foodservice environment. This role is responsible for accurate order entry, customer communication, Sales support, follow-up, reporting, and issue resolution.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while providing excellent service to customers, Sales, and internal business partners.

Shift: Hybrid Remote - Sunday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM-4:30 PM
Days Off: Friday and Saturday
Location/Time Zone: Denver, CO / Mountain Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 an hour DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and timely using company systems, including Pepper and Canopy.
• Review orders for accuracy, including correct account, delivery date, item, quantity, pricing, and special instructions.
• Manage inbound and outbound customer calls, emails, and messages.
• Support Sales with customer questions, order status, product availability, pricing questions, and follow-up requests.
• Assist with order changes, credits, samples, pickup requests, and other Sales support needs.
• Research and help resolve order issues, missing orders, credits, customer concerns, and service-related questions.
• Communicate professionally with customers, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Logistics, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams.
• Provide timely follow-up on pending customer requests, assigned tasks, and reporting needs.
• Escalate urgent issues timely to the appropriate manager or department.

Minimum Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a Customer Service or Sales Support role.
• Computer and data entry skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong follow-through and accountability.
• Schedule flexibility, including ability to work Sunday shifts.

Desired Qualifications

• Foodservice and/or wholesale experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Experience with order entry systems or ERP systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to prioritize tasks quickly and adjust as business needs change.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with leadership and business partners.
