Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a positive rapport
- Assist used car customers in describing vehicle issues and needs
- Write detailed service estimates and repair orders using automotive diagnostics and service writing skills
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate communication of vehicle repairs and maintenance requirements
- Create Sublet
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and vehicle histories
- Follow up with customers regarding vehicle status and additional service recommendations
- Requirements
- Basic knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Basic understanding with automotive repair services including oil changes, brake repair, transmissions, alignments, suspension work, tire services, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trust
- Basic auto estimating skills are a plus
- Experience in auto sales or automobile sales is advantageous but not mandatory
- Mechanical knowledge combined with service technician experience is highly desirable
- Cash handling experience preferred but not required
- A proactive attitude with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
