Our fast paced and rapidly expanding hospital is equipped with state of the art In-House Laboratories, Digital Imaging (full body, dental and ultrasound) in addition to our Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Center (Cold Laser and Water Treadmill Therapy).

MUST Haves to be considered for employment: The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years of Verifiable Veterinary Technician experience

Previous Emergency/Urgent Care and Critical Case Experience or competitive School Certification equivalency with a completed internship is a plus

Responsibilities: The Veterinary Technician is responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Communicate clearly with Veterinarians, staff members and administrators
  • Affluent in treatment protocols, work very well under pressure with exceptional medical treatment plan organizational skills
  • Provide high-quality care and monitoring of patients, including routine, emergency and surgical care
  • Understand and follow hospital protocol for patient intake, treatment and hospital operations
  • Assist Veterinarians during treatment, surgical procedures and monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery
  • Perform thorough examinations, diagnostics and treatments as well as administer medications, vaccinations and perform various medical procedures under the supervision of our skilled Veterinarians
  • Cleaning, sanitizing and organizing of all areas of the hospital, including examination rooms, surgical center, treatment areas, kennels and equipment
  • Educate and communicate with pet owners regarding treatment plans, preventive care, post treatment care and general animal health while adhering to established protocols, safety guidelines and regulations as required by law

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
