What are the responsibilities and job description for the ER Veterinary Technician position at North Valley Veterinary Center?
Looking for a happy, compassionate, motivated veterinary technician to enhance our ER team! North Valley Veterinary Center is seeking a lasting relationship with an experienced veterinary technician to assist our Veterinarians with the primary medical support of our patients and clients. Schedule is 4/10 and position to fill is Wednesday to Saturday or Thursday to Sunday depending on skills and abilities. Assessments sent by Indeed must be done for any candidate to be considered further.
Position Overview
This position consists of triaging pets who come in for ER services, performing diagnostics, monitoring anesthesia, caring for hospitalized cases and giving support in all areas relevant to emergency care.
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of paid veterinary technician experience required (PLEASE NOTE: Candidates with less than 3 years of experience will not be considered)
RVT credentialing a plus!
