Requirements / Qualifications
This position requires an Account Clerk III Test. Testing is TBD. Candidate must be able to perform responsible duties involving student body and school accounts, including posting, balancing and reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements at an assigned school; maintain accurate financial and statistical records; read, interpret and follow rules, regulations, policies and procedures; prepare, verify, process and control ASB accounts, records and reports, and verify, balance and adjust accounts. Qualifications: Graduation from high school, including or supplemented by course work in bookkeeping or accounting, and three years of financial record-keeping experience. Candidate must have knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment, maintain records and prepare reports, and have appropriate telephone techniques and etiquette. Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation are essential. Knowledge of Excel is required. School bookkeeping experience is preferred.
