Dietary Aide

Santa Anita Convalescent Hospital located in Temple City, California, is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team!

About the Role:

As a Dietary Aide at Santa Anita Convalescent Hospital, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional care and delicious meals. Your responsibilities will include preparing hot and cold food and beverage, preparing trays during mealtime, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare hot and cold food and beverage as directed by the Cook or Dietary Services Supervisor
• Prepare trays during mealtime
• Check client's trays for proper and accurate food items and equipment
• Transport trays for meal service
• Follow posted cleaning schedule with utilization of proper sanitation and cleaning methods
• Lift up to 20lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Team player
• Maintain regular attendance as necessary and essential to job function
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, speak and understand English
• Ability to follow and complete directions and tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
• Have a Food Handlers Card or able to get upon Hire
• Open Availability as schedule is based on Census

• Competitive hourly rate of $18.39 per hour
• Full-time position including AM (6:00 am to 2:30 pm) and PM (11:00 am to 7:30 pm) shifts
