Pay range: $75-80

Work Schedule: 1st shift 9am-5pm Mon-Fri EST

Location: Swiftwater, PA

Contract Length: 12 months

Sanofi's contingent workforce program, FLEXT Direct, is seeking a Scientist III for a 12- month contract.

Job Summary:

Join our dynamic team in the vaccine development laboratories where you will play a crucial role in executing bioreactor studies for process development and improvement. As a key member, you will be responsible for conducting bench-scale lab work, authoring protocols and reports, and leading investigations to ensure project requirements and timelines are met. Your work will involve working with glass and stainless steel reactors, adhering to safety procedures, and maintaining compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Execute bioreactor studies for process development and improvement
• Author protocols and reports
• Conduct primarily bench-scale lab work with some administrative tasks
• Lead investigations to identify root causes and resolve problems
• Work with glass and stainless steel reactors, comfortable with manual labor
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures
• Meet project requirements and timelines

Skills:

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in math and general computer skills
• Experience in writing and revising documents such as testing methods, protocols, reports
• Ability to work collaboratively in team environments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree/Graduate Degree in Science (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, or Chemistry) OR work experience in a cell culture or bacterial laboratory
• Ph.D.'s with research experience are encouraged to apply
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (MS 2010)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with 2 L to 10 L Glass Reactor and/or 200 L SUB
• General experience with rHA and rS proteins
