Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior scientists to build and refine multiscale computational models of disease.
- Conduct literature reviews to extract biological mechanisms, parameters, and assumptions.
- Integrate preclinical and clinical data into models under guidance.
- Apply data science techniques to support model development.
- Assist in simulation analysis and troubleshooting model performance.
- Contribute to model documentation and internal infrastructure.
- Present findings to internal teams with support from senior staff.
- Stay current with QSP methodologies through training and conferences.
Basic Qualifications:
- PhD or MS in systems pharmacology, biomedical engineering, computational biology, Mathematical Modeling, Computational Mathematics or related fields.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience and/or academic experience with QSP methodologies.
- Experience with ordinary differential equation (ODE)-models.
- Hands-on experience with modeling tools (MATLAB preferred; Julia, R, C/C a plus).
- Exposure to drug development or pharmacometrics is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated interest in continuous learning and professional development.
