Job Purpose: Set and implement marketing and sales strategies of a given business / therapeutical area at a China country level. Make sure that predefined business objectives are met, define corrective action plan. Manages sales and marketing organizations. Contribute to GBU management decisions, as a leadership team member of SPC China. Location: Shanghai Report to: General Manager, SPC China Main responsibilities: You will develop and execute strategic business plans to drive organizational growth. Direct the development of comprehensive strategic plans across all approved and pipeline indications. Make critical decisions regarding resource allocations, market prioritization, and investment strategies. Evaluate and approve major strategic initiatives with potential to significantly impact business performance. Establish policies and procedures to ensure operational excellence. Work closely with global brand team, and local cross-function teams. You will oversee daily operations, optimize resource allocation to ensure business objectives. Exercise wide latitude in decision-making regarding business operations, market strategy, and organizational structure. Review and approve financial forecasts, business cases, and investment proposals for the franchise. Monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics, taking corrective action when necessary. Establish performance targets and accountability measures for the leadership team. Approve major contracts and partnership agreements. Collaborate with Industrial Affairs, supply chain, finance, commercial and regulatory team to ensure global supply meets China market demand. Represent Sanofi at high-level meetings with government officials, healthcare authorities, and industry associations. Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and major healthcare institutions. Organizational Development and Talent Management. Make decisions regarding hiring, promotion, performance management and coaching of team members. Establish performance management guidance and compensation guidelines for the franchise. Direct the development of succession plans for critical roles within the organization. You will champion innovative thinking and implement creative solutions to maintain competitive advantage. Establish innovation priorities and approve major digital and technological initiatives Approve major innovation projects and allocate resources for implementation Represent Sanofi in strategic discussions with potential partners and collaborators About you You have broad experience working in China and deep understanding of the evolving healthcare ecosystem in China market. You have solid experience of marketing, field force management, new product launch, market access and strategic planning. You have experience in engaging customers through digital and multi-channel approach with solid deliverable.
