AOI/5DX Programmer
Job Purpose
This position is responsible for supporting AOI/5DX equipment in our electronic manufacturing plant in Carrollton, TX.
Nature Of Duties/Responsibilities
Required to sit and/or stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment; talk and hear in person; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

AOI/5DX Programmer
Job Purpose
This position is responsible for supporting AOI/5DX equipment in our electronic manufacturing plant in Carrollton, TX.
Nature Of Duties/Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains programs for the AOI, AXI and SPI equipment
- Develops and maintains other AOI/5DX related processes, writes profiles and monitors equipment lines to ensure proper program performance, process efficiency, and ongoing quality
- Works with production, engineering and machine operators to maintain equipment and to ensure efficient operation of work centers to meet production schedules
- Performs customer specified modifications to programs (ECOs)
- Troubleshoots process / equipment problems and fault corrections
- Other duties as required
- Associate’s Degree / 2 year Technical Degree or equivalent experience required
- 2-4 years of experience supporting AOI/5DX Programming team
- Understanding of the Production environment
- Ability to work under deadlines (Programs, ECO)
- Detail-oriented, fast learner
- Able to read drawings and other written documents
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Good organization and documentation skills
- Strong computer skills with MS Office / Google suite experience
- Has willingness to learn, takes initiative, and offers improvement ideas
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent punctuality, good attendance, and reliability required
- Adherence to health and safety regulations
- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
