Manufacturing Engineering Intern
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities
- Support the Manufacturing Engineering team in the design and implementation of new manufacturing processes
- Assist with the development and maintenance of manufacturing process documentation
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to boost the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing operations
- Conduct data analysis and develop recommendations for process improvement
- Participate in cross-functional projects and provide support as needed
- Perform engineering change processes as necessary to support existing products
- Tests prototypes and standard products and write reports to document the results
- HLA assembly medical line, work instructions
- NPI line setup, Process flows
- Categorize a wide arrangement of existing parts
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management
Education and Experience
- Currently in year 3 or 4 of a 4-year degree program in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related Engineering field
- Flexible Hours available

Physical Demands
Work is performed in an office and a manufacturing environment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Occasionally may need to exert up to 30 pounds of force to lift, carry, push and pull or otherwise move objects.
