We work with women, men, youth, senior citizens. We provide information and actionable tools so that informed choices may be made.
Sanjeevani partners with legal, law enforcement, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists and other partner communities.

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Helpline Asssociate to oversee and strengthen our mental health support helpline. This role is critical in ensuring that individuals reaching out receive timely, empathetic, and appropriate support.
The ideal candidate brings a balance of empathy, structure, and crisis-awareness, and is passionate about creating safe and supportive experiences for those in need.
Key Responsibilities
This role is not a licensed therapy position, but requires sensitivity, good judgment, and the ability to escalate when needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the helpline (calls, messages, or chat-based support) for short peak periods
- Recruit, train, and support volunteer listeners/responders
- Develop and maintain response protocols and escalation guidelines
- Ensure timely follow-ups and quality of support interactions
- Track usage metrics, trends, and insights to improve services
- Coordinate with leadership on partnerships, referrals, and resource building
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions
- Experience in mental health support, counseling, social work, or crisis response
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high emotional intelligence
- Ability to manage and support volunteers in a sensitive environment
- Familiarity with helpline operations, crisis protocols, or peer support models
- Highly organized and able to manage schedules, data, and workflows
- Background in psychology, counseling, or social work
- Experience working with immigrant or culturally diverse communities
- Prior experience managing a helpline, support group, or community service
- Knowledge of mental health resources and referral systems in the U.S.
