We work with women, men, youth, senior citizens. We provide information and actionable tools so that informed choices may be made.
Sanjeevani partners with legal, law enforcement, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists and other partner communities.
Sanjeevani is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization with the tax ID number 81-1722515. Donations to Sanjeevani are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Grant Writer who is passionate about mental health equity and community impact. This role will be instrumental in helping Sanjeevani expand its reach by securing funding to support programs, events, and accessible mental health resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with mental health, community wellness, operations and health equity
- Write compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry (LOIs), and funding applications
- Collaborate with leadership to gather program insights, participant stories, and impact data
- Track grant deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements
- Support post-award reporting and funder communication
- Proven experience in grant writing, preferably in mental health, healthcare, or social impact sectors
- Strong storytelling and writing skills, with the ability to convey sensitive topics with empathy and clarity
- Familiarity with foundations and funding sources focused on mental health and community-based programs
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Alignment with Sanjeevani’s mission and values
- Experience working with small or early-stage nonprofits
- Understanding of culturally responsive mental health initiatives
- Lived experience or demonstrated commitment to mental health advocacy
