Position Overview
The Senior Auditor plays a key leadership role in managing audit engagements from planning through completion. You will oversee staff, ensure high-quality deliverables, nurture client relationships, and contribute to the firm’s continued growth and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple audit and assurance engagements simultaneously
- Oversee engagement planning, risk assessments, substantive testing, and financial statement preparation
- Ensure engagements are completed within budgeted timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards
- Maintain strong client communication and address issues proactively
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and value-added services
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and applicable auditing/accounting standards (GAAS, GAAP)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or CPA eligibility required
- 3 years of audit experience within a public accounting firm
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and internal controls
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and client deadlines
