Senior Accountant

Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid 4/1)

Compensation: $75,000–$90,000

Job Summary

Our client, a rapidly growing leader in the hospitality industry, is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support HOA and resort accounting across multiple properties. This individual will play a key role in a fast-moving, highly structured environment with significant operational partnerships and high-volume transactional activity.

As the organization continues to expand—domestically and internationally—the accounting function is evolving to meet greater complexity, upgraded systems, and increased workload. The ideal candidate is analytical, accurate, adaptable, and committed to driving continuous improvement rather than maintaining the status quo.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle HOA and resort-level accounting for assigned properties.
• Execute month-end close processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage cash activity, deposits, and high-volume reconciliations with precision.
• Collaborate with mini-site controllers and operational teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Support forecasting efforts, variance analysis, and financial planning for HOA/timeshare functions.
• Maintain and reinforce strong internal controls across all HOA entities.
• Assist with audits, compliance activities, and special projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reporting quality.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in high-volume or large-company environments.
• Strong Excel capability including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs (required).
• Experience with Power BI, BlackLine, or treasury tools (plus).
• Hospitality industry background strongly preferred but not required.
• Analytical and detail-driven with the ability to work in a structured environment with strong controls.
• Personable, team-oriented, and adaptable with a positive, improvement-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
