- Ensure that pipe is installed properly to avoid leaks and on the correct grade
- Install and remove safety devices required for work operations
- Assist in unloading delivered construction materials
- Assist in locating existing utilities to avoid damage
- Keep track of tools during work hours
- Communicate time away from work with your team leader and other team members with sufficient notice to make plans for changing personnel to focus on the priorities
- Willingness to work hours as required
- OSHA Training
- Trenching and Excavation Competent Person
- Rigger
- Flagger
- First Aid and CPR
