SandyPines Residential Treatment Center is a 149-bed Residential Psychiatric Facility servicing children and adolescents ages 5 to 17. The facility is in beautiful South Florida, nestled beside Jonathan Dickinson State Park and just minutes away from the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. About Universal Health Services
The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for completing Admission Assessments as well as completing timely data entry for all incoming and follow up calls. Admissions Coordinator are also responsible for reviewing referrals for clinical appropriateness as well as facilitating the prior authorization process with the insurance companies.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Completes Admissions Assessments and required documentation in a timely manner.
- Assists in completing pre-certifications and gathering clinical documentation on residents.
- Assists in completing Admissions packets and organizing files in the Admissions drive.
- Assists the department with scheduling admissions and notifying parents/guardians of items needed for admission.
- Timely Data Entry in MS4 system for incoming and discharging residents.
- Conducts tour of the facility for family and new residents.
- Provides backup for Admissions Assistant and Director of Admissions.
- Returns phone calls in a timely manner.
- Maintains positive relationships with referral sources and responds to their requests in a timely manner.

Position Requirements:
- Clinical Master’s degree required, in a Social Services or related field with experience in related field writing reports.
- Excellent organizational, computer, written, oral communication skills are also required.
- Detail oriented and ability to successfully multitask in a fast-paced environment
