About the Role
Sandy Vans is looking for a creative and social-savvy TikTok Social Media Intern to help grow our brand presence and engage our online community. This is a hybrid role, with one in-office day per week for team collaboration and content planning, and the remainder remote.
Responsibilities
- Create, film, and edit engaging TikTok content that reflects the Sandy Vans brand voice
- Stay current on TikTok trends, sounds, and challenges, and adapt them for our audience
- Assist in planning and scheduling a consistent content calendar
- Monitor comments, DMs, and engagement, responding where appropriate
- Track performance metrics and report on what's working
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, product launches, and promotions
- Brainstorm new content ideas to grow followers and engagement
Qualifications
- Active TikTok user with a strong understanding of the platform and its trends
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, TikTok editor, or similar)
- Strong communication and creative thinking skills
- Comfortable being on camera or directing content shoots
- Reliable and able to commit to one in-office day per week
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred, not required)
- Currently in college or graduate, studying Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred, not required)
