We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Part-Time Keyholder/Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in finding the products they need. Your ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and promote our products will be key to your success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating merchandise.
- Provide knowledgeable information about products and services.
- Process transactions accurately using the cash register and handle cash with care.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves as needed.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock checks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register is a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, including bilingual skills being an advantage.
- A proactive approach to upselling products and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain stock levels and store presentation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Must be 18 years and older
- Must be comfortable and capable of working independently during periods when the associate is the sole staff member in the store.
