Teach Magic at Camp on the Chesapeake Bay This Summer!

Sandy Hill Camp and Retreat Center in North East, Maryland is looking for two magicians to join our 2026 summer staff and teach magic to campers ages 8–16. What You'll Do:

• Plan and lead daily magic classes for beginner campers (ages 8–16) — card tricks, sleight of hand, simple illusions, and showmanship
• Help campers build confidence and prepare for end-of-week performances
• Participate in broader camp life including meals, evening programs, and cabin supervision (residential staff)

What We're Looking For:

• Magic performance experience (hobbyist, semi-pro, or professional)
• Patience and enthusiasm for teaching beginners
• Genuine enjoyment of working with kids and teens
• Must be 18 (or 17 high school graduate)

Available as a residential position (live on-site Sunday–Friday, free room and board, most weekends off) or day-only for local candidates. Most staff work early June through mid-August. Sandy Hill is a smoke-free, drug-free, and values-centered environment.

Pay: $2,100.00 - $2,300.00 per month
