Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately
- Serve food items with attention to presentation and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, kitchen stations, and equipment to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change using basic math skills
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks while adhering to food handling safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm
- Support the team during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking between beverage making and food service duties
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required; we value eagerness to learn!
- Familiarity with barista techniques and beverage service is a plus; training will be provided if needed
- Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances your ability to serve efficiently
- Strong customer service skills combined with good time management are essential for success in this role
